We launched a pyramid to the moon in January 2025 with Meme World Order, LifeShip, and MoonDAO - a physical artifact containing a private key that maps to crypto wallets from multiple communities. Now we're building the digital infrastructure to keep that mission alive and bring new people into space culture. This proposal funds a Base mini-app that tracks the lunar pyramid's wallet balance in real-time, shows its location on the moon, and lets people submit digital art and messages to add to the bounty. The goal is simple: make space interesting again for retail crypto users and grow the lunar bounty into something impossible to ignore.

According to the [MoonDAO roadmap](https://docs.moondao.com/About/Roadmap) the organization should start designing Lunar Settlement this year. Rovers are major elements of it.

No unified standards for lunar rovers exist. By supporting this initiative, MoonDAO fulfills its mission and establishes itself as a leader in lunar exploration.

The standard should cover all the aspects of rover design, from the physical interface to the software stack.

Rover projects can realize immediate benefits by adopting specific components of the standard, such as command protocols, even without full implementation.

To succeed we need to form a global collaboration and adopt the standard. To secure the necessary resources, we plan to leverage the MoonDAO launchpad.

Phase Two focuses on preparing for a launch via the MoonDAO launchpad, formalizing community development processes, and establishing the initial draft of the standard.

Space is a new frontier in biology for two reasons: firstly we can use the lack of gravity for experiments that outperform terrestrial settings, and secondly because we need a whole set of new technology and know-how to tackle the space environment for human life. This project will produce a shared, peer‑reviewed technical baseline for MoonDAO’s future biological mission design and funding. The paper will collect and organize research, examples, and companies into a reliable review paper to help guide the whole sector. This helps MoonDAO and others understand the landscape of space bio, helps direct research, funding, and policy. The work will be coordinated by Expanse Bio, a new hub accelerating space biotech. The team of scientists leading this project have multiple experiences publishing high impact studies.

Pulse v0 is a compact, smart wearable that can deliver medicine automatically and safely. In extreme or confined environments like spacecraft, analog habitats, or remote Earth locations giving yourself a shot is difficult. Gravity doesn’t help, spaces are tight, and even small mistakes like needle jams, backflow, or sensor errors can be dangerous. Medicines such as anti-nausea drugs, painkillers, antibiotics, allergy treatments, or even cancer therapies need precise delivery to keep people safe. Pulse v0 is a bench-top prototype, built to test whether a wearable can reliably and safely deliver medication without putting anyone at risk. It allows us to study fluid dynamics, dosing accuracy, and sensor reliability under controlled lab conditions. The design is human-centered, focusing on safety, usability, and reliability. Testing this prototype now generates critical data to guide future iterations, including wearables for space, remote missions, or emergency use. Beyond space, Pulse v0

The Earth-Space Conservation and Demonstration Center (ESCDC), is a 338 acre space education and research analog site in Washington, New Hampshire. Founder David Cheuvront, was the visionary study team member and co-author of NASA’s “ The Evolvable Lunar Architecture” document and a NASA ISS and Safety & Compliance focused Systems Engineer. MoonDAO’s 2030 target of a minimum viable, self-sustaining lunar settlement by around 2030, culminating in a celebratory gathering is quickly approaching. During this past 4Q2025 Autumn, ESCDC’s 3 crew members rapidly stood up our first ESCDC operations for a successful World Biggest Analog (WBA) pilot; we're seeking to continue building the vision of our Founder David Cheuvront. The site needs basic 'life support' base systems— power, water, communications and environmental control, so we can further develop and host space: education, research and analog events (The 2030 celebration) that feels like it's happening on the Moon. Type 2 Labs is building a lunar rover that Youtubers, streamers, and Chat (stream viewers) can control.
The Mission: Chat, We are Going to the Moon.
We are in the process of prototyping the rover, finding mission sponsors, planning live rover pits at conferences, and planning analogue streaming missions. Our marketing strategy: If it doesn't make people laugh or inspire them, we don't do it. Audiences are tired of polished corporate messaging — they want something that feels human and self-aware. Everything we do has a hint of irony, and that's by design. Serious Engineering. Unserious Marketing. Our sponsorship model: We're building a roster of category-exclusive sponsors where each company owns their category as the 'Official [Category] of Chat, We are Going to the Moon.' The semi-ironic 'Official' title is audience-tested and memorable — viewers find it entertaining, which means more engagement for sponsors. This project is a monthly, in person speaker series held on the full moon, focused on how humans think about, govern, and build for the Moon. It is a direct continuation of the Moon Dialogs series founded by Jessy Kate, founder of the Open Lunar Foundation, which demonstrated sustained community interest in accessible, interdisciplinary conversations about lunar development and stewardship.
Hosted at The Fold in San Francisco, the series carries forward the Moon Dialogs ethos while introducing a more structured arc, clearer objectives, and tighter integration with active lunar infrastructure projects. Each event brings together experts and practitioners alongside a broader community to hear short talks, share food and drinks, and engage in discussion across lunar policy, development, geology, philosophy, and systems infrastructure.
The series also serves as a public facing platform to introduce and discuss the forthcoming Lunar Timekeeping whitepaper and to invite new contributors into

Imagine a big, exciting festival in Uganda where hundreds of young blockchain developers come together to learn, build, and dream big. Our team wants to turn this into a MoonDAO launchpad for Africa! We will use the Blockchain Developer Festival (DevFest Kampala 5.0) on June 27, 2026, to introduce MoonDAO to local devs in super-simple ways. We'll show how blockchain helps us build a real lunar settlement by 2030. The event ends with a post-event hackathon in July where teams create MoonDAO-inspired projects. In kid terms: "We're throwing a space-blockchain party in Uganda to make MoonDAO's mission fun, teach everyone how it works, grow a local crew of fans and builders, and keep the adventure going with future partnerships."

Astronauts who see Earth from space often experience a profound shift in worldview called the Overview Effect. Despite decades of astronaut testimony, no one has ever done a rigorous, large‑scale analysis of what these experiences actually have in common, how they vary, or what psychological mechanisms drive them. TORI Stage 1 will build the first comprehensive research database of Overview Effect accounts by systematically coding astronaut memoirs, interviews, oral histories, and mission transcripts. The result: an open‑access archive and a peer‑reviewed publication establishing empirical patterns in Overview Effect experiences, giving the space community (and MoonDAO specifically) a scientific foundation for understanding how space travel transforms human consciousness.

Picture this: hundreds of young blockchain developers packed into a lively hall in Kampala, notebooks open, laptops humming, all buzzing with ideas. That's DevFest Kampala 5.0 on June 27, 2026. Our team wants to make it MoonDAO's official launchpad in East Africa.

We'll bring MoonDAO right into the heart of the event with a branded booth, an interactive workshop that breaks down the Master Plan in plain language, and swag that gets people talking. Then we'll cap it off with a focused post-event hackathon in July where teams build real prototypes tied to lunar settlement challenges—like decentralized coordination tools or on-chain funding for space public goods.

But we're not stopping when the event ends. We've planned concrete follow-through: immediate Discord onboarding with welcome messages and role assignments to enable them attend the DAO calls & proposed monthly "Uganda MoonDAO Meetups" ( mostly virtually), guided sessions on how to vote with $vMOONEY, submit contributions for r

Space radiation from solar storms is like a dangerous "invisible storm" that can hurt astronauts on the Moon and compromise entire space missions. I want to provide guidelines on how to design a simple, safe "storm shelter" built into a lunar surface habitat, where astronauts can quickly go inside during a solar storm to stay protected. This project will use NASA's radiation simulation tools and my extensive expertise from years of research funded by NASA and show MoonDAO how space radiation protection research is performed to clear common misunderstandings that are hurting space technology design, and open way that benefits everyone exploring the Moon.

The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is launching an online learning platform, the SpaceGen Academy, to provide global youth with access to high-quality space education. We are asking for a $2,000 sponsorship to fund our Thinkific learning platform. In return, MoonDAO gets to co-create a future course on space decentralization, reach 40,000+ young space professionals, collect leads for future MoonDAO builders, and integrate directly with our global network.

Space Education Platform for the Youth

NASA has already published Artemis lunar surface exploration plans for long-term human activity on and around the Moon. These plans include surface habitats, lunar terrain vehicles, pressurized rovers, power systems, science operations, and activity around the lunar south pole, where sunlight, shadow, terrain, and possible water ice all matter for mission design.

This project turns lunar ideas into clearer plans. Builders will be able to show, test, improve, and share mission concepts with the community. The goal is to create useful open infrastructure that helps space architects, students, researchers, and future project teams design better lunar missions together.

We will do it in LunCoSim - an open simulation toolkit for planning and testing this kind of Moon infrastructure before it is built in the real world.

In a sealed off-world base, human survival depends directly on automated life-support systems and artificial intelligence. This project takes space philosopher Frank White's concept of Contelligence (the integration of consciousness and intelligence across biological and synthetic systems) and turns it into a clear, usable set of operational guidelines for human–AI teamwork. Rather than treating advanced AI and habitat robots merely as expendable tools, this research establishes practical ground rules for shared decision-making, mutual care, and crisis triage. Using qualitative analysis and interactive scenario testing in Claude AI, the project delivers a straightforward Contelligence Guidelines Handbook and an open-access report for MoonDAO.

A six-month budget is proposed for the Executive Branch (EB) to take MoonDAO's lunar-economy stack public and turn it into revenue and network growth. The term has four priorities:

1. Publicly launch Moon Base Zero, the to-scale lunar settlement simulation, and the DePrize capability ladder on Arbitrum, starting with Touchdown before the next lunar landing attempt.
2. Follow through on the Overview Effect Flight by securing two seats with a provider: Frank White named on the flight manifest, and the second seat held for a MoonDAO Citizen.
3. Grow the Space Acceleration Network with a repriced Citizenship that includes MOONEY bought on the open market and staked in the Citizen's name, supported by MoonDAO's first paid acquisition campaign.
4. Use current AI agents to automate most recurring DAO operations, so the EB's fixed cost can come down after this term.

Core operations continue throughout: governance and the project system, treasury and liquidity management, communications, webs

Space analog simulations are essential for understanding and preparing for conditions, restrictions and requirements that we need to consider for living and working on the Moon or on Mars. They let us test technology and procedures for future space missions, explore difficulties and new ideas. Analog space suits help investigate materials, components as well as structural and operational architecture that makes a suit function in the space environment and replicate the technological and physical demands for moving and working on lunar or planetary surfaces.

The OeWF (Austrian Space Forum) has been developing space suits to simulate extravehicular activity (EVA) suits for analog Mars and Lunar missions since 2008. While high-fidelity AOUDA suits are the flagship of our analog research, they are very expensive and require specialized training and certification for use. Our medium-fidelity Delta suits, based on the open-source BORP suit model by Paul Bakken, are used for training interna
